Barry Ostrager – Owner

Barry Ostrager has been a long-time participant in all facets of the thoroughbred breeding and racing industry as a farm owner, stallion manager, breeder, and owner. As owner of Questroyal Stud LLC, Barry has managed the careers of many of the most prominent stallions to stand in the state, including Belong To Me, Hansel, and Gold Token, among many others. Barry has embraced a leadership role in the industry in addition to his own pursuits as a former President of the New York Thoroughbred Breeders and, until 2015, a member of the NYRA Board.

Bill Allen - Farm Manager

Bill, a third generation horseman, comes to Questroyal North with 17 years of experience in the horse industry.  Bill worked full time at his family's Ocala, Florida farm (while being homeschooled) during his teens where he did everything from foaling, breeding, reproductive work, and breaking yearlings.  Bill worked during college breaks at Eclipse Award-winning Farnsworth Farms in Florida and worked as the Foaling Manager during the 2000 and 2003 breeding seasons.  From 2003 through 2009, Bill was Farm Manager at Liberty Stud, in Ghent, NY.  Most recently, Bill spent 2017 as Assistant Manager at Sunnyfield Farm in Westchester County.

Kelly McCombs - Office Manager
Originally from Dutchess County, Kelly brings with her 15+ years of experience in the equine industry. A 2007 Bachelor's Degree graduate from Morrisville State College, Kelly double majored in Equine Reproduction and Business Administration. Her love of horses began at the young age of 6, when her grandfather brought her to her first riding lesson. During her time in the equine industry, Kelly has done everything from managing a hunter/jumper barn, foaling out upwards of 200 mares, prepping yearlings for sale and handling horses at some of the biggest sales in the country. She brings this experience and exceptional organizational skills to the office of Questroyal North.
